What History Taught Me About Power.

What I discovered was something much bigger.

The deeper I went into old books, chronicles, coins, statues, and eyewitness accounts, the more I realized that history is often less about what happened and more about who gets to tell the story.

Every civilization leaves footprints.

Some are celebrated.

Some are forgotten.

Some are deliberately ignored.

For years I’ve spent countless hours digging through sources that most people never read.

Not because I wanted to prove a point, but because I was curious.

Why do certain figures disappear from popular history?

Why do some stories get repeated endlessly while others are buried in dusty archives?

Why do old descriptions, artwork, and historical accounts sometimes paint a very different picture than modern narratives?

Those questions became a hobby.

The hobby became a passion.

The passion became The Swarthy Channel.

One lesson appears again and again throughout history:

Power is not just the ability to rule.

Power is the ability to define reality.

Empires understood this.

Kings understood this.

Religious institutions understood this.

Modern media understands it too.

Who controls the story often controls the future.

That is why I continue researching.

Not because I claim to have every answer.

Not because I expect everyone to agree.

But because asking questions is how knowledge grows.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more of the rare sources, forgotten accounts, and fascinating discoveries that don’t always make it into my videos.

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed, commented, shared, and supported this journey.

We’re only getting started.

The archives are deep.

And some of the most interesting stories are still waiting to be uncovered.
